Sunday, May 27, 2001
yesterday i wanted to fly a kite... but it was cold and gray and very windy.
instead i climbed a big hill, saw nearly all of the city and had the worlds best burrito.
today i want to fly a kite... but it is cold and gray and very windy.
i don't think i could eat another bite.

back, again.all my various problems

Wednesday, May 16, 2001
back, again.
all my various problems with bureaucracy have been solved for a moment i was going to complain. it's done now. the time is gone. no reason to make additions.

in the meantimes...

i finally saw the orb play live. it was wonderful. they know a thing or two about pacing a live crowd. it was nice to see music i grew up dancing too, played live. especially after somewhat of a dancing hiatus. next week is autechre. either first to squarepusher's second or second to his first. i was already looking forward, after josh's review of both nyc shows, even more so. live, improvised, dense composition. few could be finer.

i'm meditating on a regular basis. finally. an interest is now firmly planted as a lifestyle. at least once daily. often more. not to give the impression of discipline. i didn't make a point to. it made the point for me.

recent projects have been set for a later day, so i can give more time to one i feel is more important. details will have to wait. i don't want to speak much until it's closer to completion.

san francisco is a beautiful place. i've gotten tired of proclaiming 'what a nice day!'. i think i'll get a tshirt with that on the front and 'sorry, thats a little much for me right now' on the back. eliminating excess. two birds, one stone. the past week has taken me to ocean beach, baker beach, crissy field, golden gate bridge, the palace of fine arts, multiple parks, the hill in bernel heights, and a couple of new to me neighborhoods. all by way of feet. i love this town. you get what you pay for.

that about sums it up...
things are good...
more to come...
