Mush Tour
Last night, I went to see the Mush Records tour. It
was the most creative three hours of music i've ever seen. If you happen to
be in LA on the 26th, I highly recomend checking it out.
Reflection
Born basking in the glow of our own reflection-
Each morning I wake and begin again with the same selection.

Time Well Spent
Soon an old acquaintance from St. Louis will be
arriving in San Francisco. For good... or at least a
good while. If all goes well. Lately, he's been making some
amazing
things.
I'm really looking forward to having him around.

New Glasses
I almost forgot... For the first time in many years I'm wearing glasses.
Me Job Now
I'm back online fulltime and I'm back to being unemployed. Kinko's doesn't treat
people well. In almost every area imaginable. I intended to tell the whole story...
but I'm so glad to be gone, I don't want to think about it anymore. The short version
is, I quit the day there was a big manager's meeting. In the meeting they discussed
making me a cornerstone to help turn around the store. They were going to send me
to various training courses - so I could quickly become an assistant manager. In the
meantime, I would be in charge of the store on weekend nights. Which would have
been great, except the whole conversation was full of excuses (as to why things had
been so bad for so long), lies (exactly like i was told before I was hired), and a general
lack of understanding about how the store ran on a day to day basis. Not to mention
they were going to pay me a dollar more per hour, than I made as a cashier, while
I was in charge. I declined. Endless talking and nonsense ensued. It gave
me a headache. It still does. I declined again. Thankfully, that was that.
Now I'm looking for work. At least this time I'm getting unemployment while I do so. Hopefully I'll be able to hold out until i can get some sort of creative job. I've been gone from my seven year career, for a year and a half now. I miss it. Very much. I started doing it because I loved it. I had no idea it would get as big as it did... few people knew what I was doing at the time. Now it's common knowledge. I really hope I can start doing it again. Cross your fingers.

Sid Meier Interview
Would you be interested in education?
Thats not our focus. I want to make the distinction between education and learning. Education is typically boring but learning is very exciting. We like to introduce learning into a game without making it feel educational. In learning you decide what to learn in education you are told what to learn.
