Way Off Site

As part of today's Blogger offsite, I made my first visit to the Exploratorium. It wasn't at all what I expected. Instead of a very designed museum type experience, it was more like a warehouse full of really cool, very homemade, gadgets and demonstrations. As someone put it, it was "made by dorks, for dorks". What more can you ask for?

Afterwards we intended to go to the PepperMill in Daly City. Turns out it's closed down now. A note on the door read something like "Thanks for 30 years Daily City". Looking in the windows you could still see the plush purple horseshoe booths and fake blossoming cherry trees. Looking at Jason Goldman, you could see the heartbreak.

They say it always comes in threes. I hope that isn't true. I don't know if I can handle two more favorite restaurants dyeing.
