WHEREIN LANE COMES TO VISIT
Lane came to San Francisco for most of December. Much fun was had. There was adventuring in the rain, Bernal Heights hill climbing, a very early morning outing to see The Two Towers, lots of hanging out, a stormy beach, much stuffing of faces... not to mention the most quality quality time I could ever hope for.

I just got a new S75 to replace my much loved, but expensively broken, Cannon Elph s100. These are the first few pictures I took around the house and at work.
HIKE TO THE TOP OF HALF DOME @ YOSEMITE
About 17 miles round trip - Covering a change of 4,800 feet in elevation. Half Dome was easily the hardest things I've ever done... and most rewarding. The view from the top is amazing. Just being on top is something extraordinary. Everyone should do it sometime.

This past Fourth of July my friend Gomen had a nice little picnic in his back yard.
BIG BASIN
In late May, my roommate and me went for a twelve mile hike through Big Basin State park. It's gorgeous... There's giant Redwood trees, little winding creeks, and 3 beautiful waterfalls. I can't wait to go again.
